BeadforLife has big goals for March
Local nonprofit launches MARCH Out of Poverty campaign
In honor of International Women’s Day 100th anniversary, Boulder-based BeadforLife has set a New Year’s resolution to help Ugandan women “MARCH Out of Poverty” by holding 500 BeadParties between now and March 31. At BeadParties, hosts receive a box of handmade beaded jewelry and shea butter products — all made by women living in Uganda — from BeadforLife. Guests at the party can learn about the nonprofit’s programs and the women involved, and can purchase items such as necklaces, bracelets and shea butter soap. Any unsold products are returned to BeadforLife, and profits from the party go back to supporting the Ugandan women.
Register online to host your own BeadParty and enter the promo code MARCH. Everything you need will be sent to you at no cost.
To make sure you receive your BeadParty package in time, allow three weeks’ delivery for domestic parties and 4 weeks’ delivery for international parties (including Canada). The first available date will be shown on the registration page.
For more information, visit BeadforLife’s homepage, or call 303-554-5901.
