Join the Go Green March this Sunday, April 17

The Boulder Go Green March will be starting at 1048 Pearl St. at 1:30 p.m. and end on the Courthouse Lawn. Bring your own posters to protest Global Warming and American dependence on foreign oil. The march will be followed by kids’ speeches on going green.

Conceived and inspired by fifth graders at the Boulder Community School of Integrated Studies (BCSIS), this march is intended to inspire others to take action in their every day lives that can make a difference and help ensure a sustainable future for all.

“Our class decided to organize this march because there are so many easy things we can do to reduce global warming and stay out of wars like using renewable resources and reduce, re-use and recycle,” says Eli Mellon, a BCSIS fifth grader.

In addition to fifth grader speeches, Leslie Glustrom from RenewablesYES, will speak about efforts underway to bring the City of Boulder a clean energy future.
