Winter bike to work day
If you’ve been in Boulder for more than five minutes, you probably realized that it’s a huge biking community. Spandex-clad bikers are ubiquitous year round. When I moved here a little over two years ago I was startled by how many bikers were on the road, but now after acclimating to the Boulder lifestyle, I feel comfortable sharing the road. So next Wednesday, Jan. 20, on GO Boulder’s second annual Winter Bike to Work Day, I will dust off my bike and head down the road to work. Hey, maybe this event will convince me to bike to work more often. Hope so. It’s the Boulderganic thing to do.
The day will include free breakfast from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at:
Applebee’s – 1906 28th St.–eggs, pancakes, bacon & juice
City Municipal Building – 1777 Broadway, sponsored by The Cup, Sprouts and evol burritos
Moe’s Broadway Bagel- 3705 Arapahoe Ave.–bagels
Moe’s Broadway Bagel – 2650 Broadway–bagels
Pedal to Properties – 1949 Pearl St.–Hot coco stop
